Francy Ruiz is a highly skilled custom builder who has been with EGR for over a decade. He has been involved in numerous projects over the years that have developed his skills and techniques to be top notch. Francy is a hard worker and friend to all. How’d you get your start?
I came to apply because I listened to some colleagues that this is a company where one has many opportunities to learn.
Describe your day-to-day role as Custom Millwork Carpenter:
Start with a cup of coffee to make sure my energy is at 100% to start to day
What has been your favorite project to date? Why?
The Oklahoma State Capitol has been a big job where I have learned that the little details make a difference
What is your biggest challenge on any given job?
Finishing the work on time – Each job comes with a strict timeline, so it can be tough to keep up
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I like to swim and play soccer
What’s the most gratifying part of the job?
The most rewarding thing is to finish the work on time and have a good relationship with my coworkers

I don’t have a favorite place, I like to visit and explore new places
