Norman Brock was introduced to EGR by several members of his church. After hearing about their work at EGR, he decided to join the team in 2019 as Case Assembly Lead. Norman came well qualified with over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. He was previously self-employed for five years building cabinets and installing trim in new homes.
Describe your day to day role as Case Assembly Lead:
As the team leader of the casework assembly department, I oversee all aspects of my department. This includes building quality cabinets and installing hardware according to customer specifications while maintaining the highest quality standards.
What has been your favorite project to date? Why?
One of the tops on the list would have to be the Oklahoma State Capitol.
What is your biggest challenge on any given job?
When production gets interrupted by machining collaboration issues, things can get messy. It can be a challenge to meet deadlines on shipping dates when things don’t run smoothly.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Riding dirt bike motorcycles, hosting men’s bible study & gardening
What’s the most gratifying part of the job?
Being a part of an amazing team at EGR. It’s also great to see jobs shipped on time that are 100% complete.

I used to be an executive chef, so I can cook some amazing food.
