How’d you get your start?
My dad was already working at EGR and recommended me for the job.
Describe your day to day role:
I have to start my day with a big cup of coffee. Once I’ve had that, I’m off to the assembly line to assemble, kit, and build cabinets all day.
What has been your favorite project to date and why?
To be honest, I don’t have a favorite. Since I assemble hundreds of cabinets each day, most of the jobs look similar until they’re in the field.
What is your biggest challenge on any given job?
Being consistent and performing to the highest possible quality can be challenging at times.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I love to play soccer with my friends after work and on the weekends. I’m also a huge fan of cars.
What’s the most gratifying part of the job?
Completing my work is definitely a good feeling. It’s also nice to hear positive feedback from the bosses when I’ve done a good job and when they recognize my improvement.
Favorite restaurant in OKC:
Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers. They have the best hamburgers & fries.
What’s your party trick?
I play the trumpet
