Rodney Gravel joined the EGR team in 2009 and has been a key player from the beginning. He wears many hats, but they all have one common denominator – communication. Rodney works with several different departments to ensure everything is organized, in sync and on time.
How’d you get your start?
I was subcontracting custom die walls from EGR and Darren offered me a position.
Describe your day to day role:
As shop foreman, I coordinate with project managers and shipping as well as oversee production of all custom products and countertops and solid surface.
What has been your favorite project to date and why?
My favorite project would probably be the Oklahoma State Capitol restoration.
What is your biggest challenge on any given job?
Meeting impossible deadlines
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy four-wheeling and rock crawling.
What’s the most gratifying part of the job?
Completing projects and satisfying customers
